IRMA JEAN MILLER COLSTON
Jean Colston was born on February 19, 1952 in Huntsville, Alabama. She passed from this life to her eternal home on December 27, 2023.
Jean is survived by her sons Tommy Colston and Terry Colston (Tabitha), grandsons Taran Colston, Trevor Colston, and Jay Colston, sisters Linda Butler, Theresa Mullins (Mike), Mary Hughes (Tim) and brother Burl Miller, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Jean was proceeded in death by her husband, Thomas G. Colston, parents Juanita (Miller) Baugher and Oscar Miller, sister Carol Amador, and grandson DeShay Colston.
Jean grew up in Toney, Alabama before marrying her husband in 1970 and spending the next few years as a Navy wife before settling with her family in Ardmore, Tennessee. She loved to travel with her husband, was an avid gardener and talented artist, seamstress, cook, and crafter, often making delicious treats and lovely homemade gifts for family and friends.
A graveside service will be held at Gatlin Cemetery on Stateline Road in Ardmore on Saturday, December 30th, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Brother Clayton Bunn officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be Taran Colston, Jay Colston, Chris Butler, Bradley Butler, Eric Miller, and Mike Williams.
