Janie Deason Nunnally, 83, of Ohatchee, Alabama passed on Sunday May 12, 2024. She was a loving wife and mother and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Janie is survived by her daughter, Lynn Nunnally, her sister Elizabeth Faulkner, and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Donald Wayne Nunnally; her parents, Olan Rush and Alva Mae Deason, and her brother Elbert Deason.
Janie was a lover of all people, animals, and nature. She loved to fish with her family and always wore a smile. She was a devoted member of Oak Bowery Baptist Church where she was known as a social butterfly, She loved her pet cats and all animals. She was a lifelong fan of Southern Gospel Music.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Janie’s caregiver, Dora Childs, and the nurses and staff of Jacksonville Health and Rehab and Aveanna Hospice.
