Janice Maerene Hathcock, age 66, died Thursday evening November 24, 2016 at Jackson General Hospital.
She was born and reared at Corinth, MS, the daughter of the late Floyd Thomas Hathcock and Ardie Mae Browder Hathcock. She worked at a sewing factory in Ripley, MS for a short time and had been a homemaker since. She had lived in the Enville – Sweetlips Community of Chester County for two years.
She is survived by two sons; Floyd Michael McCarver and wife Cheryl of Henderson and Tommy Earl McCarver of Selmer, four brothers; William Hathcock of Henderson, Noel Hathcock of Henderson, Harold Wayne Hathcock of Finger, and Donnie Gene Hicks of California and two sisters; Rita Faye Barnes of Nashville, and Patricia Hathcock of Selmer.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Monday at New Union Cemetery near Medon with Ricky Tedford officiating.
