Janice Hight Barnes, 76 of Dora, passed away Sunday April 2, 2023.
She was a member of New Life Christian Assembly. She loved to cook, garden and spend time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents Bill and Mag Hight; husband, Jackie Barnes; son, Greg Tanner and brother, Butch Hight.
She is survived by her son Stephen Tanner (Kathi); grandchildren, Elise and Nicholas Tanner and Elonica Tanner; brother, Charles Hight (Sandy); sister-in-law, Wanda Hight and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held Wednesday April 5, 2023 at 1:00pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Rev. James Aycox will officiate. The family will receive guests from 12-1pm. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens in Bessemer.
