Janice Annette Jacks Campbell, age 56 of Winchester, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. A native of Frankin County, she was born on May 21, 1967. She had previously been employed at the hat factory, World Finance, and Southern Manor. Janice enjoyed being outdoors camping and riding four-wheelers in the mountains. She also enjoyed playing card games and working puzzles. During football season, she would always be watching and cheering for the Alabama Crimson Tide football team. Her family will remember her for her fun nature, gift of gab, and the kindness she showed to everyone. Janice was an amazing daughter, mother, and grandmother, and she cherished the time spent with her beloved family, especially her granddaughter, Blakelee. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter “Dooney” Jacks; sister, Beverly Denise Jacks, grandparents, Walter and Louella Sims, and Ernest and Ruby Jacks; and several aunts and uncles. Janice is survived by her mother, Helen Sims Jacks; daughters, Nikki Teters, and Ashley Campbell; granddaughter, Blakelee Teters; good friend, Frankie Campbell; aunt, Nellie Burks; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Steele officiating. Interment will follow at Clark Gardens.
