Janette Price passed away February 12th, 2019, at the age of 74. She was preceded in death by her parents Waymon and Cora Payne; her first husband of 27 years, James D. (Buddy) Green; her son, Mark David Green; and her sister Doris Jones.
She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Bill Price; her daughter Connie Pearson; 2 sons, Steve (Sandra) Price and Patrick (Jennifer) Price; and by her sisters Thelma Goodpasture; Ruth Philips (Dan); Joann Durham; Molly Thompson (Jackie), Carol Jackson (Jerry); Barbara Pressnell; Maxine Barlowe (Greg); and Kathleen Graves (Buddy).
She is also survived by her eight (8) precious grandchildren that she loved so dearly – Buddy Pearson; Misty Wheeler; Dustin Green; Melissa Neal; Riley Stapler; Jordan Price; Jada Price; Adrian Price and 9 great-grandchildren.
Janette loved the Lord more than anything, always putting Him first in her life, and others before herself, believing that according to the Bible what she did for others was viewed by the Lord as doing it also unto him Janette was a member of the Holiness church for 44 years. She loved, and was loved, by everyone and lived the kind of life that others could safely emulate.
Janette loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, gardening and reading. Nothing made her happier than camping, fishing and cooking out with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many friends.
The memorial service will be at Berryhill Funeral Home on Saturday, February 16, 2019, from 4pm – 8pm. The funeral service will be at Huntsville Holiness Church on Sunday, February 17, 2019, at 2pm. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Our family would like to express our gratitude and special thanks to the Huntsville Hospice Family Care facility and staff, who provided such wonderful and loving care during this difficult time. We also cannot adequately express our appreciation to all the family and friends that provided so much love during Janette’s lengthy illness.
