Mr. James William Nelson, age 76 of Athens, AL passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at his home. Mr. Nelson was born on March 28, 1943 in Mitchell, SD to Willie Phillip Nelson and M. Kathern Smith Nelson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Mr. Nelson is survived by his wife, Judy Nelson; daughters, Jill Reeder (Otis E. Reeder, Jr.) and Sandra London (Steven London); granddaughter, Kendall Layne Reeder; grandson, Andrew London; 2 sisters and their spouses and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Nelson was an avid golfer and loved spending time on the golf course.
A memorial service for Mr. Nelson will be planned at a later date.
