Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Mr. John Hannah officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 28, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Hastings is survived by sons, Danny (Cindy) Hastings, Tafton (April) Hastings, Keith (Christie) Hastings, and Robbie (Debbie) Sherrell; daughters, Debbie Hastings, Pam Palikan, Marsha Sorge, and Vanessa (Denis) Potter; grandchildren, Stephanie Wallace, Daniel Hastings, Michelle Hastings, JT Hastings, Joshua Hastings, Jonathan Hastings, Christa Hastings, Jacob Hastings, Destine Andrews, Allen Potter, Nick Potter, Madison Potter, Libby Sherrell, Jamie Sherrell, David Sherrell, and Farah Sherrell; 12 great grandchildren; and a sister, Marie Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Hastings; son, Michael Hastings; daughter, Mary Gordie; grandson, Mikey Perkins; parents, James T. and Lois Hastings; brothers, Carter Hastings and Van Hastings; and a sister, Kitty Lyons.
