James Clifton " Red " Speegle A Memorial service for James “Red” Speegle, 83, will be Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Serenity Baptist Church with Bro. Don Smith and Bro. Lynn Morgan officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time at the church.

Mr.  Speegle passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at his residence.  He was born July 28, 1942, in Morgan County, to Charlie C. Speegle and Frances Moody Speegle.

Mr. Speegle was a member of the Serenity Baptist Church. He was a loving dad, who was never seen without a smile. Affectionately known as “Red”, he was employed by BASF, as a Quality Control Technician, prior to his retirement.

Preceding him in death were his parents, a son- Tommy Speegle, a sister- Alma Pitts and a brother- Paul Jack Speegle.

Survivors include

Wife of 55 years – Lucritia “Tish” Wilks Speegle,

Sons- James Oliver Todd Speegle (Hannah)
Tracey Speegle (Erica),

Daughter-in-law – Kandace Speegle,

Brother – Henry Speegle (Vicki),

Three Grandchildren – Amber Caldwell (Thomas), Charles Speegle (Annalesa), and Freya Speegle.

Three Great Grandchildren – Catarina Speegle, Maverick Speegle, and Keanu Speegle.
