James Randall Wiggins passed away on June 30, 2024, at the age of 62. He was born on April 11, 1962, in Birmingham, AL. Randy was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a kind-hearted soul who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, the outdoors, SCUBA diving, and in his final years, building LEGO sets.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara Wiggins Anderson; brother, Roy Lynn Wiggins; many nieces, nephews; and numerous friends who will cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his father, Joel Roy Wiggins, and sister, Annmarie Wiggins Helmick.
Visitation will be held at Laughlin Service Funeral Home on Friday, July 5, at 10:00 a.m. with a service following at 11:00 a.m. A small graveside service will then be held at Holly Pond Cemetery at 1:00. Randy will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
In lieu of flowers, Randy and family request donations be made to the American Cancer Society, St Jude’s children’s hospital, or Floyd E. “Tut” Fann State Veterans Home.
