Funeral for James Quincy Standridge, 85, of Trinity will be Saturday, February 9, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with J.T. Lowery and Doug Moody officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pisgah Cemetery in Limestone County. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mr. Standridge, who died Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at Crestwood Hospital, was born April 7, 1927, in Caddo to Elmer and Dora Lee Standridge. He was a barber at Bank Street Barber Shop and enjoyed woodworking. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Caddo Congregational Church. Mr. Standridge was a U.S. Navy World War II veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Loyd and Aulton; and sisters, Luvern, Wilma, Thelma, Inez and Wyonell.
Survivors include his wife, Fannie Mae Clark; Darwin Clark (Elizabeth); numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers will be Randy Dutton, Patrick McNeil, Lyle Standridge, Brennon Standridge, Brent Standridge, Fred Shelton, Marshall Shelton and Jonathan Clark.
