Funeral for Addie M. Strickland, 83, of Moulton will be Saturday, February 9, 2013, at 3:30 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home with Jerry Strickland and Charles Williams officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8:30 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Strickland died Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at NHC Healthcare. She was born April 13, 1929, in Franklin County to William Earnest Mills and Annie Heaps Mills. She was a member of Chalybeate Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Strickland Jr.; parents; son, Steve Strickland; brother, Roy Mills; and three sisters, Lila Mae Vandiver, Mary Belle Henson and Helen Savage.
Survivors include one son, Jerry Strickland and Sandra of Moulton; three grandchildren, Mark Strickland and Tammy of Moulton, Lorie Franks and Jeremy of Florence and Leah Strickland of Moulton; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Opal Harris and Velma Beene and Dow.
Pallbearers will be Jackie Harris, Billy Bradford, Gary Bradford, Rickey Beene, Derrick Beene and Rickey Terry.
