James Michael Price. 76 of the Dilworth community, passed away on December 12, 2022 at his home.
He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was an avid Alabama football fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Audie Belle Price; sisters, Betty Ann Ray, Bethea Rape and Mattie Knouse and brothers, Jesse, Charles and Robert Price.
Survivors include his wife of 54 1/2 years Anna Price; sons, James David Price (Katie) and Kenneth Lee Olcott; grandchildren, Carl (Diana), Terry (Danielle), Jimbo (Stephanie), Katie M., Katie P., Nicole, Beth, Kaylee and Sheldon and Colton Auer; several great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; sisters, Ruby Hackworth and Norma Sue Bowker; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Graveside service and burial will be Friday Dec. 16, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Empire Memorial Cemetery. Rev. Brad Corley will officiate. There is no visitation; everyone is invited to meet at the gravesite.
The family wants to express thanks to the staff of Gentiva Hospice, especially his nurses, Mallory Freeman and Maegen Mitchell.
