Funeral for James Lee “Rosco” Archer, 35, of Danville will be Thursday, January 29, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Speake Christian Fellowship with Bro. Francis Proctor and Bro. Justin Compton officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at Speake Christian Fellowship.
Mr. Archer, who died Monday, January 26, 2015, at his residence, was born March 27, 1979, in Morgan County to James C. Archer and Jo Ann Archer. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and attended Speake Christian Fellowship. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Willard Archer and Wesley Archer.
Survivors include his parents, James and Jo Ann Archer; his grandparents, Opal Archer and Aluvrene Burnett, both of Danville; two sisters, Cynthia Wesley (Nathan) of Hartselle and Rachel James (Darren) of Tuscumbia; three nieces, Havana Wesley, Emma James and Ava James; and one nephew, Harlon Wesley.
Pallbearers will be Matt Kenum, Dmitriy Tretyakor, Seth Keenum, Mike Johnson, Nicholas Cole, Ryan Gilley and Shane Naylor.
