Graveside services for James (Jimmy) McArthur Renegar, age 73 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Wednesday July 8, 2015 at 1:30pm at Medium Cemetery with Rev. Will Wells and Rev. Thomas Smith officiating. Mr. Renegar passed away Monday July 6, 2015 in Huntsville Hospital.
He was a native of Lincoln County, TN and the son of the late John Robert Renegar, Jr. and Mary Virginia Wright Renegar. Mr. Renegar was a retired data processor with Amana Refrigeration and a member of the First United Methodist Church. He enjoyed wood working, was a volunteer with Good Sam thru the First United Methodist Church and loved people.
Survivors include his wife Edna Pardon Renegar of Fayetteville, two daughters Sherry Renegar
Stone of Fayetteville, Lori Renegar Burton of Fayetteville, grandchildren Raven Burton and Peyton Honea, great-grandchild Sadie Burton, sister Frances (Tillie) Thompson and husband Joe, brother John Robert (Rowena) Renegar, and several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Visitation with the family will be Wednesday July 8, 2015 from 10am-1pm at Higgins Funeral Home. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brother Charles Renegar, sisters Lila Wright and Muriel Sappington. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
