Mr. James Harold Hood, age 76 of Haleyville, Alabama passed away December 9, 2016.
He owned Hood Manufacturing for over 40 years and was a member of Pleasant Hill No.2 Missionary Baptist Church.
Visitation is Sunday, December 11, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill No.2 Missionary Baptist Church, Ashridge community. Funeral service is Monday, December 12, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the church with Bro. Clyde Garrison, Bro. Wayne William and Bro. Jeffery Wiggins officiating. Burial in adjoining church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Letha Hood; children, Bryan (Reeta) Hood, Johnny (Julie) Hood, Chris(Gina) Hall, Cindy Hood, Karla (Gary) Chambless, Jeana Hall; brothers, Wayne (Rina) Hood, Terry(Becky) Hood, Roger (Tina )Hood; sisters, Betty Sue (Dwight) Ownsby, Brenda (Wayne) Kelly; 16 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Luther Hood; mother, Maudie Waldrop Hood; son, Jeremy Hall; brothers, Bobby Ray Hood and Luther “Carl” Hood.
