James Edgar Woods, 72, of Rogersville died Sunday, November 9th, 2014 at his residence. He was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from Alcoa, Magnolia, Arkansas.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 – 7 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow in Rogersville Funeral Home Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Billy Woods, Roger Woods, Chris Denison, Chris Puckett, Geno Pillow, Randy Puckett, Jr., Jesse Butler and Jordan Woods.
Mr. Woods was preceded in death by his parents, Leon & Marie Woods; brother, Billy Leon Woods; sisters, Helen Barker and Connie Mack; nephew, Roy Lee Battles. He is survived by his children, Callistia (Michael) Papis, Terry Woods, Marsha Woods, Roger (Mary Jo) Woods, Treasa Woods, Shanna Woods, Chris (Jessica) Denison, Davis Trent Woods and Billy (Shelia) Woods; 21 grandchildren; sisters, Mary Woods (David Risner) and Martha Ann (Wayne) Durham; brother, Johnny Ray (Jean) Woods; many nieces and nephews.
