Delton Norman Lawler, age 73, of Tuscumbia, Alabama, went to see his heavenly father Monday, Nov. 10, 2014. Graveside services will be Wednesday, Nov.12, 2014, at 1 p.m. in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Brother Seth Hood will be officiating.
Delton was a member of Baptist Faith and he was the owner-operator of Standard Stamping Inc. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and had a green thumb when it came to farming. Mr. Lawler loved all children, always teaching them to hunt and fish and spent time with them.
He was preceded in death by parents, Alton and Lorene Lawler, and sister, Elizabeth Floyd.
Survivors are wife of 52 wonderful years, Reba Lawler; son, Charles Lawler (Molly); daughters, Jennie Lawler Thacker (Bret) and Tammy Johnson (Jim); grandchildren, Kimber Peebles (Corey), Dustin Lawler, Jacob Johnson, Collin Lawler, Jeremy Johnson, Jaxson Lawler, and Maci Lawler; sisters, Betty and Vickie Parker and Joyce Little. Host of loving nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital , attention to memorial Honor Program FH, One St. Jude Place Building 1000 Dept. 300 Memphis, TN 38148-0552.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
