James E. Haver, 77, of Decatur passed away Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015 at Decatur Morgan Main Hospital. Visitation will be today, Nov. 6, 2015 from 1 to 2 p.m. and a Celebration of Life service at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Gary Heathcock officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Haver was in the cotton business from 1963 until 2005. He enjoyed golfing, Alabama football and loved his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin R. and Johnnie P. Haver.
He is survived by wife of 54 years, Trudell Franklin Haver; daughters, Moira Haver Cameron (Danny Clark), of Tamarac, Florida, Cassandra Haver Cone of Eagleville, Tennessee; five grandchildren, Joshua Tyler Cameron (21), Catherine Haver Con (19), Thomas Fite Cone III (18), Emily Cassandra Cone (15) and Preston Alexander Cameron (13); brother, William F. Haver of Birmingham; and sister, Diane H. McCorquadale of Jackson, Alabama.
Pallbearers will be Bob Campbell, Ron Siebert, Hugh Looney, Danny Cameron, Josh Cameron and Thomas Cone. Honorary pallbearers will be Catherine Cone, Emily Cone and Preston Cameron.
