James Alfred “Jake” Robertson, Jr., 62, of Fulton, died Friday, January 9, 2015, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS. He was born February 5, 1952, to James Alfred and Susie Morrison Robertson, Sr. He worked at Malone and Hyde for eighteen years and has been co-owner, along with his wife, of The Water Front Restaurant since 1996. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, and especially loved spending time with his family.

Services will be at 11 a. m. Monday, January 12, at the McNeece – Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Castor Buse and Bro. Don Baggett officiating. Burial will be in Itawamba Memorial Gardens.

Survivors include his wife, Diane Davis Robertson; one son, Matt Robertson (Emilie), both of Fulton; one daughter, Dana Robertson Long (Robert) of Huntsville, AL; one brother, Billy Bob Robertson (Cherea) of Fulton; two sisters, Ann Rogers (Thermon) of Fairview, and Charlotte “Tink” Stanford (Glenn) of the Bigbee community; eight grandchildren, Aubrey Turner, Jacob Turner, Chelsey Long, Brittany Long, Chase Long, Layla Long, Abbie Robertson, and Evan Robertson; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister.

Pallbearers will be Kirk Davis, Kevin Davis, Craig Davis, John Felix Robertson, William Robertson, and Chase Long.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p. m. Sunday, January 11, at McNeece – Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
