Mr. James A Bishop age 72 of Boaz, passed away at Gadsden Regional Hospital on Thursday, December 12, 2019. A visitation will be held Sunday, December 15, 2019, from 12:00 pm till 1:00 pm at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home, a graveside service will be held at 2;00 pm at Liberty Hill Church Cemetery in the Smiths Institute Community at 2:00 pm. He is survived by his son; Kenneth (Sandra) Bishop, daughter; Deborah Nix,sister; Elizabeth Blair, grandchildren; Jacob Buckelew, Angelyn (Caleb) Losey, Summer (Cody) Hugueley, great-grandchildren; Jalen Eason, Violet Hugueley. He was preceded in death by his parents; Ledale & Kate Bishop, wife; Evelyn Bishop, son; Richard Nix, geanddaughter; Desa Nix, brothers; Marshall Bishop, & Gene Bishop.
