Jacob Alexander Wilkerson, age 17 of Russellville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021. He was born in Jackson, Tennessee on February 6, 2004. Jacob was a student at Russellville High School and attended the First Baptist Church in Russellville. An avid car enthusiast, he also enjoyed collecting Hawaiian shirts. In his spare time, he could be found playing video games or watching and drawing cartoons. Jacob will be remembered for his brilliant mind, beautiful soul, and generous spirit. He was truly loved by his family and many friends. Jacob was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Kenneth Brown, and James “Monroe” Wilkerson; and great-grandparents, Casey and Opal (Hammock) Brown, Charlie Allen and Jeanetta (Holbert) Allen, Ira Ernest and Eliza May (Judge) Wilkerson, and Willie and Asree (Stephens) Sisk. He is survived by his loving parents, Steven and Donna Wilkerson of Russellville, KY; twin sister, Jennifer Wilkerson of Russellville, KY; siblings, Matthew Wilkerson of Russellville, KY, and Phillip Wilkerson of Huntsville, AL; grandmothers, Judith (Allen) Brown of Livingston, TN, and Maybelle (Sisk) Wilkerson of Keith Springs, TN; uncles, Greg (Karen) Wilkerson of Murfreesboro, TN, Brad (Lori) Wilkerson of Decherd; aunt, Rhonda Wilkerson of Keith Springs; first cousins, Joshua (Kelsey) Wilkerson, Kristopher (Alexis) Wilkerson, and Robbie Wilkerson; and many great aunts, great uncles, and cousins. He also leaves behind a beloved pet, Cooper. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Friday, July 2, 2021 and on Saturday from 11am -1pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 3, 2021 in the Moore-Cortner Chapel. Interment will follow at Clark Gardens Cemetery.
