Florence Faye Golden Florence Faye Golden, age 96 of Estill Springs, passed away from this life and went to be with her Lord on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. A Franklin County native, she was born on October 29, 1924 to the late Fannie Mae and James Hollis Roberts. Florence was a member of Riva Lake Baptist Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She enjoyed camping and sewing, but her greatest joy came from being a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She loved spending time with her beloved family. In addition to her parents, Florence was preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty-two years, the love of her life, Charles Edward Golden. For the past twenty years, her daughter JoAnne has taken care of her and her needs. Florence spent her last few months of her earthly life being taken care of by her grandchildren, Kimberly and Travis Miller, and Molly Blaul Sitter; great-granddaughter, Jessica Hall; great-grandson, Jayden Miller; and great-great-grandson, Trever Hall. She is survived by her loving daughters, JoAnne (Kenneth) Williams and Shirley (Tommy) Spray; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 in the Chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Sanders officiating. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery in Tullahoma. Special thanks from the family to the staff at Amedisys Hospice for the care given to Florence.
