Jackie Sue Balentine, 73, passed to her heavenly home on Friday, July 17, 2020. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, godmother, and special friend to many. She was born to William “Troy” and Lula Mae Williams, on November 12, 1946, in Gadsden, Alabama.  She was married to Thomas “Tommy” Balentine for 38 years.

Jackie loved her family, friends, and music deeply. On any given night, she could be found dancing to her favorite music with a smile on her face. She will be remembered for her fierce loyalty and love for her family and friends.

She is survived by her brother, Art Williams; son, Frank (Becky) Balentine; grandchildren, Alyssa and Frankie Balentine; goddaughter, Taylor Woods; godson, Dalton Rhodes; as well as a number of loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brothers Gerald, George, Paul, and Leonard Williams, and sister Mary Louise Sarratt.

A service for family and friends will be held at Greenview Memorial Gardens in Florence, Alabama, on Sunday, July 20, at 2:00pm.
