Jackie Elaine Moore, age 74, of Summertown, TN passed away Sunday, April 30, 2023, at her residence. She was a native of Summertown, TN, retired from Southeastern Shirt Corporation in Mt. Pleasant, TN, and a member of Chapel Grove Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Farris Clint and Alma Cleo Adams Powell; and one sister, Sue Frazier.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby Wayne Moore of Summertown, TN; one daughter, Kristy Newton (Tim) of Loretto, TN; one son, Rodney Moore (Diane) of Summertown, TN; four grandchildren, Matthew Moore, Colton Newton, Karlee Newton, and Mattie Moore; three sisters, Betty Jensen, Barbara Smith, and Jane Chunn (Archie), all of Summertown, TN; several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, May 04, 2023, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Chapel Grove Church of Christ at 11:00 AM Friday, May 05, 2023, with Ed Daniel and Aaron Battey officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Grove Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN. The family suggests memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
