Jackie Allen McCaig age 79 of Tanner, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Limestone Health Facility. Mrs. McCaig was born January 2, 1935 in Morgan County, Alabama to Leander Allen and Avis L. Lemley Allen.
Services will be Friday, January 10, 2014 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Mike Green and Michael Mason officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, January 9, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens.
Preceded in death by her parents, Leander and Avis Allen; husbands, Charles McCaig and Kenneth Sharp.
Survives by two sons, Danny McCaig and wife, Alice of Athens and Doug McCaig and wife, Cammie of Tanner; three grandsons, Jacob McCaig, Josh McCaig and Hunter McCaig; two granddaughters, Ashton McCaig and Whitney Haney.
Pallbearers will be Jacob McCaig, Hunter McCaig, Joshua McCaig, Christopher Haney, Hershel Swanner and James Paul Schrimsher.
