Clara Marie Seay, age 71, Russellville, Alabama passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2014, at her residence.
She was a native of Winston County, but lived most of her life in Franklin County. She was a homemaker and member of Macedonia Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 9, 2014, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home Russellville. The funeral will be Friday, 2 p.m. at the Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel with Andy Cansler and Richard Crumpton officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Memory Gardens.
Survivors include daughter, Marie Wright; son Jimmy Dale Seay and wife, Peggy; brother, James Vandiver and wife, Betty; sister, Nelda Franks and husband, Donnie; grandchildren, Stuart and Dustin Wright, Rachel Seay, April Lucas and Nick Seay; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be nephews, Jeremy, Jamie, Jesse, Brian, Rodney and Darryl.
She was preceded in death by husband, Ralph “Pete” Seay; parents, Jimmy and Lila Mae Vandiver; grandson, Johnathon Wright.
