Jack Williams, 94, of Town Creek passed away Saturday, December 28, 2024. Visitation will be held at Jackson Memory Funeral Home Tuesday, December 31, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. directly followed by the funeral service with Scotty Brackin and Gary Dan Williams officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Jack Williams was a lifelong resident of Town Creek, he retired as a carpenter, and was a faithful member of Donald Baptist Church for over 75 years. Jack was blessed with the ability to repair and build almost anything, so after retirement from public work he enjoyed helping people with repair jobs in and around the community.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Gurtrude Allen; son-in-law, Guy Wesley King; brother, Curtus E. Williams; sisters, Louvina Lambert and Florene Landers.
Survivors include his wife of 77 years, Alline Smith Williams; his son, Jackie Williams (Marian); daughter, Shannon King. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Jennifer Cross (Jason), Bridget Norwood (Jeff), Gary Dan Williams (Camille), Hope Etheridge (Brad); nine great-grandchildren, Lindsey McCutcheon (Tom), Payton Norwood, Levi Norwood, Bralan Etheridge, Will Cross, Emma Seal (Joshua), Madeline Hammond (Jasper), Matilda Williams, Meredith Williams; and one great-great-grandchild, Charlotte McCutcheon.
Pallbearers: Jason Cross, Jeff Norwood, Brad Etheridge, Will Cross, Levi Norwood, Billy Borden, and Ronnie Manley.
