J. C. Fortenberry, 73 of Union Grove passed away Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born October 9, 1950, the son of Ralph Fortenberry and Lydia Mae King Fortenberry.
He is survived by a brother: Herman Fortenberry; nephews: Kelvin (Deborah) Fortenberry and Randall Fortenberry; nieces: Kristie Fortenberry, Julie (Stoney) Turner, Jennifer (Georgette) Barwick and Amanda (Ken) Gibson; his special family: Joe Vann and Sara Bunch and their family; a host of other relatives and many dear friends.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2024, at Gober Funeral Chapel, with Brother Jerry Burgett officiating. The burial will be in Langston Cemetery, Gober Funeral Chapel directing.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Gober Funeral Chapel.
