Irma Brandon Brittain earned her angel wings on Oct 25, 2025, just shy of 95 years young.
Irma was predeceased by her husband George and son Scott.
She is survived by her children Nanette, Tim, Charlotte, and Angi, grandchildren Brandy, Amber, Claire, and Scottie, great grandchildren Julia, Devon, and Trey.
Born in Scottsboro, Alabama, the 7th of 8 children to William and Annie Brandon. Irma attended David Lipscomb College in Nashville where she met her future husband of more than 50 years. She worked in the professional world transferring to General Electric in Tampa from Alabama in the late 50’s.
Irma was such a kind person who devoted her life to helping raise her family. Irma was fond of retirement which allowed her to spend time with her grand and great grandchildren. This was her lasting legacy as family was everything to her.
Graveside service and burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 1st, 2025 at the Liberty Cemetery in Scottsboro, Alabama with Winfred Russell officiating.
