Irene Watkins, 82, of Florence, AL, passed away July 1, 2013 after an extended illness. Mrs. Watkins was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include:
Daughters: Emma Jean Littleton and husband William
Melissa Kaye Watkins
Brother: H.L. Butler and wife Shirley
Grandchildren: Brittney Lindsey and husband Brandon, Melissa Sirdevan and husband Jeff, and Michael Dale

Several nieces and nephews
Mrs. Watkins was preceded in death by her loving husband Buford Watkins; her parents Herman and Emma Williams Butler; two sisters; and four brothers.
Visitation for Mrs. Watkins will be Wednesday, July 3, 2013 from 10-1:00 P.M. at Mt. Zion Church of Christ. The funeral service will follow at the church at 1:00 P.M. with Bro. Sonny Owens officiating. Burial will be in Piney Grove Cemetery
