Ida Ruth Wilson, age 75, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Wednesday, May 06, 2015 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. She was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, retired from Salant & Salant; owner of Skip’s Soul Food where she loved to cook, and a member of St. John United Methodist Church in Lawrenceburg, TN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Manuel and Mary B. Jones Barnett; her husband, William McKinley “Skippy” Wilson; two sisters, Mable Polk and Mary Cathey; and one brother, Harry Bruce Barnett.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday, May 09, 2015 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Saturday, May 09, 2015, with Rev. Bettye P. Lewis officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN.
