Hulas Dwight McGuire, affectionately known as “Rooster”, passed away on April 8, 2026.
Rooster loved his daughters, grandchildren, and great grands. Family gatherings were his favorite time being a dad and Paw Paw.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hulas “Diddle” McGuire and Othenery Pace McGuire.
He is survived by his wife Phyllis Burleson McGuire; two children, Callie Hamby, and Angelic Quinn; five grandchildren, Dustin Hamby (Blake), Cypress Daughtry (Trey), Caymen Quinn (Bryson), Chesney Hamby (Chris), Cody Quinn (Ashlyn); 2 great-grandchildren, Ryler Hayes Terry, Lancyn Shepp Mitchell; special family friends, Wayne Hamby, Corey Quinn, Max Baxer, and Matthew Moody and a host of family and friends.
