Mr. Hoyt Lindley, age 95 of Guin, AL passed away on Wednesday , August 6, 2025 at his residence in Guin.

Born July 25, 1930, in Red Bay AL. He is the son of the late William and Ruth Mae Garrison Lindley. He was the husband of the late Dorothy Mae Shirley Lindley of Guin. He served in the Navy during the Korean War. He was a volunteer fireman, served on the City Council for the city of Guin, served on the Guin Water Board and a Jack of ALL TRADES and a Master of None. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Guin

He is survived by a Daughter, Melinda, (Keith) Bush of Huntsville, AL, and a Son, Michael K. (Kathleen C.) Lindley of Lafayette, IN, 5 Grandchildren, Jordan Bush, Jaden Bush, Beth Lindley, Matt Lindley and Laura Kilmer, a Great Grandchild, Eleanor Kilmer.

He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy, his son, Alan, and daughter, Donna.

Services will be held on Sunday, August10, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church with burial in the Guin City Cemetery. Bro Zane Miles officiating.
