Homer W. Garner, age 76, of Leoma, TN passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. He was a native of Leoma, TN, retired from Arvin as a production technician, a notary public, and a member of Mt. Zion Church of Christ. Mr. Garner served his country honorably in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Wesley and Ruby Pauline Harris Garner; his wife, Linda Sue Smith Garner; one sister, Gola Mae Garner Bassham; six brothers, Elmer, Ostine, Grady, Robert, JR, and JW Garner; and six grandchildren, David Elisha White, Susannah Avaline White, Daniel Neal White, Alston Nathaniel White, John Caleb Lee White, and Claire Celeste White.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Thursday, March 20, 2014, with Larry Dale Laws and Brian Parker officiating. Interment will follow at Fall River Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN with full military honors.
