Mr. Hollie Shelton Wright, age 80, died Saturday, April 26, 2014, at his residence, surrounded by his family. Mr. Wright was born April 15, 1934, in Flintville, TN, to Charlie J. Wright and Ophelia Peppers Wright.
He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Wright was retired from the U. S. Air Force, and was an outdoorsman who loved nature, fishing, and golf.
He is survived by his loving wife, Henrica “Rieky” Petronella Wright of Decatur; two sons, Charles Henricus Wright (Barbara) of Decatur, and Jerry Leon Wright (Suzy) of Flintville, TN; one daughter, Anita Wright Collins (Wes) of Chapel Hill, NC; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
