Hollie H. Taylor, age 77, of Alva, Florida, formerly of Tuscumbia, died Friday, January 30, 2015. His family will receive friends, Wednesday 6-8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. His funeral service will be Thursday, 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Dave Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Taylor Cemetery, Spruce Pine.
Mr. Taylor was a veteran and was retired from General Motors.
He is survived by his wife, Maria A. Taylor of Alva, FL, son, Brian Taylor of Lehigh Acres, FL, daughter, Ann T. Bates and husband Mark of Nashville, TN, brother, Thomas Eugene Taylor of Tuscumbia and grand-daughter, Maya Bates.
Pallbearers are Brian Taylor, Mark Bates, Ronnie Morgan, Mike Bates and Michael Bates, Jr.
