Hobert J. Day, 90, died Monday. Born in Good Hope, AL, Mr. Day served his country as an Air Force Sergeant during the Korean War. He retired after 28 years as a Communications Supervisor for the civil service and was an accomplished golfer.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Margaret Day; sons, Mark Day (Lisa) of Murfreesboro, TN, and Wesley Day of Huntsville; 2 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Joan Walker (Wayne) of Cullman; brother, Lloyd Day (Belinda) of Jasper, AL.
Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Thursday, May 30th, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be Friday, May 31st, at 2:00 p.m. at Cullman City Cemetery.
