Mrs. Hilda Jones Ward, age 84, of Hartselle passed away December 12, 2014. She was born September 19, 1930, in Morgan County to Forrest Lee Jones and Eva Elizabeth Evans Jones. She was a member of Hartselle First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Bert Ward; and a son, David Ward.
Survivors include a son, Patrick Ward (Jodi), of Birmingham; daughters, Susan McDermott (Alan), of Talladega and Carol Greenhill (Richard), of Hartselle; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday at Peck Funeral Home Chapel from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by the service with Bro. Charles Shaddix officiating. Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, make donations to Hartselle First Baptist Church.
