Herman Dale Hyche, age 65 of Jasper, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at his residence.
Dale Hyche was a beloved pastor for 40 years. His mission was simple, Obey God, Love Jesus and follow the Holy Spirit. He was a chaplain with the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team, serving during the disasters following the Tuscaloosa tornado’s and the Pensacola and San Marcos, TX flooding. On the mission field in Honduras seven times, he served as Pastor-Evangelist for the “It’s a God Thing” Team. All things were to give God the glory as he was just a vessel. He was a veteran of the Vietnam era, serving in the United States Air Force. He was a retired coal miner, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 4:00 PM at Hunters Chapel Church followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 6:00 PM. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 8, at 12:00 PM at Hunters Chapel Church, followed by funeral services at 2:00 PM. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery, Sam Cain will officiate.
Mr. Hyche was preceded in death by his Father & Mother-Herman and Mary Lee Hyche.
He is survived by his Wife-Brenda Gail McConnell Hyche; Daughter-Buffy Gail Hyche; Grandsons-Noah Lockhart and Collin Lockhart; Son-Kenneth Dale Hyche (Christy); Granddaughters-Savannah Hyche and Scarlett McClendon; Grandsons-Mason Hyche, Christian Hyche and Lucas Ragsdale; Sisters-Shirley Key and Barbara Hubbard (Joe); Brothers-Jimmy Hyche (Brenda Sue) and Benny Hyche (Tama); Great host of children who called him “Poppa”, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and many church family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Johnny McLain, Scott Harbison, Chris Hallmark, Mitch Kimbrell, JJ Hadder, Paul Anderson, Greg Steadman and Wayne Moore.
