Herby Hubbard departed this life on Saturday, November 10, 2012, at the age of 72 years, 8 months, 4 days.
Mr. Hubbard was born in Lutts, Tennessee on March 6, 1940, the son of the late Carroll Bud and Charity Jane Tilley Hubbard. On February 3, 1962, he was united in marriage to Olgia Phillips, who survives.
He was a Role Form operator at General Electric for 31 years. He had also worked for Parris Manufacturing Company, farmed, broke and showed horses for 20 years. Mr. Hubbard was a member of Hardin County Saddle Club and the American Racking Horse Association. He loved gardening and raising chickens.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Olgia Hubbard of Adamsville, Tennessee; daughter, Sandra Wilkins and husband Jeff of Adamsville, Tennessee; grandson, Brad Wilkins; sister, Mary Hubbard of Savannah, Tennessee; brothers, Monroe Hubbard of Savannah, Tennessee, Lois Hubbard of Spring Hill, Tennessee and Charles Hubbard of Morris Chapel, Tennessee; a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Elmer and Clyde Hubbard; brother-in-law, Bob Littlefield.
