Henry O. Eddie Henry 0. Eddie, age 80, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 28, 2023. He was prepared for the day that he met his personal Lord and Savior. His visitation will be Tuesday, May 2nd, from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Bro. J.D. Harrison officiating. Burial will be at Hatton Cemetery.

Henry was a native of Ford City. He was a proud member of Local 1274 working as a skilled journeyman carpenter. He loved working with his hands, building & remodeling homes, furniture, and toys, especially for his grandchildren. He was a loving husband, daddy, granddaddy and great granddaddy who was an avid outdoorsman who shared that love with his family. He was a member, deacon, and Sunday School Director at Ford City Baptist Church. Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Willadean Eddie; brothers: Earl Eddy, Robert Eddie; Sister: Lois Eddie; great grandchildren: Aden and Caden Manley.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Shirley Eddie; children: Dewayne Eddie, Sabrina (Paul) Tolbert, Teresa (Steven) Flannagin; Grandchildren: Joseph (Jenny) Tolbert, Brittany Myhan, Justin (Ashley) Thompson, Danielle (Adam) King, Mackaya (Drew) Griffin, Mackenzie (Cody) Manley and Matthew (Katie) Flannagin. Great Grandchildren: Johnny, Joshua, Brantley, Braelynn, Ava, Averie, Kase, Paisley, Raylee, Fennel, Piper, Karleigh, Leland, Adalyn, Krislyn, Brilyn and Flora; brother: Roger (Melba) Eddie, Sisters: Marie Olsen, Robbie Waldrep and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Grandsons: Justin, Matthew, Adam, Drew, Cody and Joseph will serve as pallbearers with Great Grandson, Brantley, will serve as Honorary Pallbearer.

The family extends special thanks to the staff of North Alabama Medical Center surgical floor: Stephanie Holden and Brittney. ICU 2nd floor and a special thanks to Seth, Colton, Jason, Kayla and Victoria and the special care from Dr. Lango. Also to Bro. J.D. Harrison and everyone for their thoughts and prayers.
