Henry “Junior” Herbert Dodson Jr, age 65 of Cowan, passed away on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Adrian, Michigan on February 29, 1956. Before his retirement, Henry had worked in the healthcare industry as a monitor tech. He enjoyed classic cars and taking photographs, but most of all he loved his family and cherished the time spent with them, especially his grandchildren. Henry was preceded in death by his father, Henry Herbert Dodson Sr; and sister, Cynthia Jean Swann. He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Lee Dodson of Cowan; children, Jeremy Lee (Tracy) Dodson of Manchester, Melissa Corcovelos of Texas, and Tiffiny (Josh) Langford of Manchester; mother, Wilma Jean Farris Dodson of Winchester; sister, Diana Lynn (Benny) Brewer of Winchester, brother, Mark Allen (Elida) Dodson of Decherd; step-daughters, Brittany Lee (Josh) McGinniss of Winchester, and Amanda Gail Hill of Decherd; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Monday, June 21, 2021 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 3:30 pm on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 in the Moore-Cortner Chapel.
