Henry E. Franklin, age 89, of Ethridge, TN passed away Monday, March 07, 2016 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. He was a native of Giles County, TN, and retired plant manager from Memphis Hardwood Flooring. He was also a member and Past President of Airport Lions Club, American Legion, and Ethridge United Methodist Church. Mr. Franklin served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy Seabees during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Grady and Daisy Prentice Franklin; his step-mother, Emma Prentice Franklin; his wife, Evelyn Ruth Jones Franklin; and two brothers, Joe Franklin and Harold Franklin.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, March 08, 2016 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Ethridge United Methodist Church at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 9, 2016. Mr. Franklin will lie in state at the church from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM prior to the funeral service. Interment will follow at Old Ethridge Cemetery in Ethridge, TN. Family suggests memorials be made to Ethridge United Methodist Church.
