Helen Ruth Barnes, age 80, of Beaverton, AL, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Northwest Medical Center in Winfield, AL. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 12:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Crews Cemetery. Bro. Ronnie Scoggins to officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 11:00am until 12:00pm.
Helen was born on January 13, 1945 in Fayette, AL to the late Sammie Grafton Black and the late Annie Mae Kennedy Black. She attended Sulligent High School. Helen previously worked at McCoy Manufacturing. She always enjoyed being outside, especially working in her garden. Her family was her treasure and loved spending every moment she could with them. Her kind and loving spirit will always be cherished and greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
