Helen Rowin Butler, 91, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2014, at the Red Bay Hospital. She was born June 11, 1922 to the late James O. and Emma Jones Rowin in Tishomingo County. She enjoyed going to church, sewing, quilting, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by a Daughter, Cathy Peden of Red Bay, AL, Grandsons, Chris (Carol) Smith of Fulton, Andy Peden of Red Bay, AL,Craig (Lisa) Butler of Murfreesboro, TN, Granddaughters, Kim (Drew) Thrasher of Haleyville, AL, Ashley (Billy) Boyd of Tunica, MS, Great Grandsons, Reed Butler, Tanner Boyd, J.T. Smith, Great-granddaughters, Erin Smith, Mary Hutley Butler, Kara Thrasher, Allie Boyd, Kelcie Thrasher, Sister, Nell (George) McKinney of Zion, IL.

She was preceded in death by her Husband, Grady Butler, Father, James O. Rowin, Mother, Emma Rowin, Step Mother, Mattie Rowin, Sons, Jackie Butler, and Larry Butler, Great Grandson, Brady Thrasher
