Helen G. Smith McCune, 70, of Madison, passed away April 10, 2024.
Helen was the best Meemaw to her grandkids, and the best mom to her kids. She kept her humor to the end and was always the life of the party.
Survivors include her husband, Dennis Schlecht; son, Lynn Sanderson; daughter, Frances Sanderson; stepson, Damon Schlecht; stepdaughter, April Klos; and grandchildren, Lexi, Elijah, Max, Madison, Katlin, and Ethan.
A Celebration of Life will be at 12 noon Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Terranova’s, 1420 Paramount Drive, Huntsville, AL.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a local animal rescue.
