Helen Christine “Mama Tine” Hooper, age 95, of Scottsboro, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. She was a member the Aspel Community Church.
She is survived by her children, Rhonda Wells (Mike), and Mark Hooper (Carolyn); grandchildren, Marcia Sisk, Hannah Book (Devin”), great grandchildren, Emma Sisk, Rollins Book; step grandchildren, Laura Olinger (Kenny), Dusty Wells (Star); step great grandchildren, Nathan, Daniel, Bodie, Vannah; and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Hooper; her sister and brothers.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Speers officiating. Burial will follow in the Zion Rest Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 7, 2024 from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
