Mrs. Helen Andondalyn “Donnie” Campbell, age 71 of Athens, AL passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Huntsville Hospital. Mrs. Campbell was born on December 15, 1946 in Limestone County to James Gilbert Johnson and Ellen Durham Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Michael Kim Johnson.
Mrs. Campbell is survived by her daughter, Mary Ellen Denton of Athens, AL; one brother, Oran Johnson and wife Melba of Athens, AL; three nephews, Luke Johnson and wife Heather of Athens, AL, Carter Johnson and wife Ashley of Madison, AL and Gil Johnson and wife Sarah of Brooklyn, New York; two great-nieces, Katelyn Mae Johnson and Raelie Johnson; three great-nephews, Camden Johnson, Leelan Johnson and Isaac Johnson.
A graveside service for Mrs. Campbell will be at 12:00PM on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Roselawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00-11:45 AM prior to the service. Limestone Chapel Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Pallbearers will be Luke Johnson, Carter Johnson, Gil Johnson, Joe Mark Douthit, Byron Johnson and Robert Johnson.
