VALHERMOSO SPRINGS-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a two-vehicle accident in Morgan County has taken the life of one person and sent another person to hospital:
“A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 6:19 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, has claimed the life of a Hartselle woman.
Paula D. Gray, 51, was fatally injured when the 2023 Hyundai Sonata that she was driving collided head-on with the 2021 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Gary L. Lacrosse, 40, of Valhermoso Springs. Gray was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash. Lacrosse was injured and transported to Huntsville Hospital for treatment.
A passenger of the Hyundai, Antonio C. Mallory, 22, of Lacey’s Spring, was also injured and transported to Huntsville Hospital for treatment.
The crash occurred on Alabama 36 near Black Ground Road, approximately four miles east of Valhermoso Springs, in Morgan County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
